Hampton Wick Frames Gallery

Hampton Wick Gallery is a new venue for contemporary arts and provides a light and spacious exhibition space. Situated on a busy main road it has double fronted windows on to the street, revealing the gallery beyond. With a flexible hanging system for 2D work throughout the gallery, including the windows, it provides an excellent venue for contemporary art exhibitions.

Hire Charge

£300 per week (7 day hire period). £500 for two weeks (14 day hire period). 50% of this fee is required as a non-refundable deposit in order to confirm the reservation. The remainder of the hire fee is required 2 weeks prior to the event. The hire period runs from Monday to Sunday and includes set up and take down of the exhibition.

Commission

The Hampton Wick Gallery does not charge any commission on cash/cheque sales.

Credit Card Facilities

If the Exhibitor wishes to make use of Hampton Wick Gallery’s credit card facilities a charge of 10% of sale price will apply.

Size

The wall space is approx 5m x 6m (wall height 3.4 metres). 2 dimensional work can also be hung in windows.

Please note that the rooms beyond the Gallery are picture framing workshops for Hampton Wick Frames. Customers requiring picture framing are served in the Gallery which hosts a hidden door to a cupboard containing frame samples.

Hanging System

The Gallery is fitted with a professional hanging system. Clear wires can be positioned easily around the gallery with movable hooks.

Lighting

Low voltage directional spotlights.

15% discount on framing by Hampton Wick Frames of exhibition work
Help in hanging exhibition
Hire of tablecloths, vases, jugs, catalogue holders etc for Private View
Staff for bar duties at Private View

Exhibitor(s) Responsibilities

The Exhibitor(s) are responsible for all publicity, insurance, manning of the gallery (see above), private view, mailings, hanging/taking down of exhibition.
